Paget would indeed be proud. Jeremy was such an eloquent Holmes. He perfectly captured the look of the Victorian gentlemen that Doyle's Sherlock has in his blood. Top marks.
Sidney Paget would be so proud! You've captured both Paget's style and Holmes' character perfectly. I love the detail of his left eyebrow, it really makes all the difference in showing his thoughts and his personality. His facial expression is nothing short of brilliant! He looks very much alive, as if he would look up at any moment, saying something to Watson or just gazing into the air, pondering something he just read. Sherlock Holmes reading a book and smoking his pipe, dressed in that famous dressing gown of his, in a dim-lit room... Such a wonderful, peaceful moment, beautifully drawn, showing a great man enjoying a moment of bliss. I would definitely have this hanging on my wall!
